Hello
I’m Callum, an Architect and the founder of Bleasdale Studio, an architecture and design practice based in Streatham, South London.

My work is informed by experience across both large, complex projects within established practice and smaller, carefully considered commissions delivered directly with clients. This breadth has shaped a pragmatic, design-led approach focused on creating thoughtful, detail-rich spaces, particularly within the domestic context.

Alongside architectural practice, I have worked as a bespoke joinery designer, developing a strong appreciation for craft, precision and the technical resolution of detail, qualities that continue to underpin my architectural work.

Bleasdale Studio brings together the rigour and discipline of large-scale project thinking with the intimacy and care of finely crafted architecture, offering a considered and personal approach to design.
Experience
FRA
At FRA, I worked on several large-scale mixed-use redevelopments, each delivering over 500 homes. I was involved from Stage 4 (Technical Design) through to completion, contributing to the delivery of complex residential buildings. During this time, I played a key role in securing approvals under the new Building Safety Regulator and qualified as an Architect.
DSJ Interiors
For two years, I specialised in bespoke joinery design, working closely with clients from initial brief through to site survey, design development, and detailed construction drawing packages for fabrication and installation. This experience sharpened my eye for detail and deepened my understanding of materiality and craftsmanship.
Hutchinson & Partners
At Hutchinson & Partners, I contributed to the planning submission for a major redevelopment of a Sainsbury’s site into a mixed-use neighbourhood of approximately 1,300 homes, retail, community and workspaces, and generous public realm including a central park. I developed and maintained a detailed Revit model used for both technical outputs and visualisations, and supported BIM coordination with the wider design team and a collaborating architecture practice.
