Principal Designer Accreditation - RIBA Academy
I’ve recently completed the RIBA Academy Principal Designer course, which explores the role of the Principal Designer under both CDM Regulations and the Building Regulations. The course offered a deep dive into how these responsibilities apply across different project types, from domestic extensions to higher-risk buildings strengthening my ability to manage health, safety, and regulatory compliance from concept through to completion.

Prestwitch - Site Progress
Work is well underway at our Prestwich project, where the original lean to garage has been carefully stripped back. The existing brickwork has been retained and integrated into the new side and rear extension, maintaining character while opening up the home to new possibilities.
Large bifold doors have now been installed, framing views to the garden and flooding the interior with natural light. Meanwhile, the clients are exploring whether the newly uncovered fireplaces discovered during strip out can be restored and repurposed as unique features within the new living spaces.

Pub Illustration - The Prince Arthur
I’ve just finished a quick illustration of one of my favourite back‑street boozers in East London: The Prince Arthur, tucked away off Old Street in Hoxton.
Dating back to the 18th century, the Prince Arthur originally served tailors and seamstresses in the area . Over the years, it’s been lovingly transformed from a traditional Shepherd Neame pub to a stylish venue with a roaring fireplace, wood‑panelled walls, quirky art, and plenty of board games. Among its past landlords was legendary East End boxer Dixie Dean, a real slice of authentic London heritage.

Brixton, Subterranian to Skyline Section.
This illustrated section cuts playfully through the heart of Brixton, revealing the layers of life above and below ground. From the London Underground winding beneath the surface to the bustle of Brixton Market above, the drawing captures the area’s unique energy and character.
Printed on 200gsm extra matte paper and sized to fit standard frames, each print is ready to hang. You can now see the artwork on display at Brixton Street Wear inside Brixton Village look closely and you’ll spot the very shop featured in the drawing itself. Chester -
Site Progress
Work is taking shape on site in Chester, where the brickwork is now well underway. This stage has been particularly useful for our clients, offering a clear sense of the scale and layout of the new kitchen and living space as it begins to emerge in three dimensions.
As part of the planning conditions, the new brickwork has been carefully matched to the original 1970s façade. Achieving this level of continuity is key to integrating the extension seamlessly with the existing house, both visually and in planning terms.

Accredited
Architect!
I’m incredibly proud to share that in October 2024 I officially qualified as an architect. It’s been a long and rewarding journey from my undergraduate studies at Leeds School of Architecture to completing my Master’s at Westminster. Both stages shaped how I approach design, balancing creativity with technical rigour and real-world context.
Becoming a registered architect marks a significant milestone in my career, but it also opens up new opportunities to grow, collaborate, and contribute to the built environment in a more impactful way. I'm looking forward to what’s next bringing thoughtful, well crafted architecture to life for my clients.
